Privacy Policy

Home Lab AI Organization is a private learning and experimentation project, not a public service. This policy describes how its email assistant handles information accessed through Gmail and information supplied in authorized requests.
Purpose and access
The application uses Google OAuth to access a designated Gmail account for receiving task requests and sending responses. The current authorization includes broad Gmail permissions, including reading, composing, sending, managing, and deleting messages; the application’s intended workflow uses message retrieval and sending and does not require permanent deletion of Gmail messages.
Information processed
Depending on the message and workflow, information processed can include sender email addresses, message identifiers, subjects, message bodies, dates, request instructions, task status, AI-generated responses, approval records, and outbound delivery records. Rejected messages may be recorded as security events containing sender and message metadata.
Use of information
Information is used to verify authorized senders, receive and manage requests, generate responses, record task activity, and send email replies. It is not used by the application for advertising.
Third-party AI processing
When an approved request is processed, its subject and body may be supplied to OpenAI services (Codex) and, when relevant, Anthropic services (Claude). These services process the submitted content to generate or review task responses. Data handling by those providers is subject to their applicable service terms and policies.
Storage and retention
Task information, message metadata, approvals, processing results, security events, and delivery records may be stored in the operator’s private application data store. There is currently no fixed automatic retention period or self-service deletion system. Records may be reviewed or deleted administratively by the operator.
Sharing and access
Application records are used by the operator to run and maintain this private service. Relevant request content may be transmitted to the AI providers identified above for task processing. Google account information is not sold or used for third-party advertising.
Your choices and contact

Google API data
The application’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is intended to follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. This statement does not replace the disclosures above.
